You know those places you visit once, but will never forget? Luckily for me, Storico Spaghetteria is not too far from where I live, so I will 100% be back- but it was memorable from the get-go. The handmade pasta were soooooooo good: I loved doing family style, so I could try a little bit of everything, but let's be honest, I wanted a lot of everything, so I have to go back. Each pasta noodles were intricate and beautiful and you could taste the freshness. The sauces were incredible. The desserts were wild. Warning: parking is tricky and not great, and there are no reservations, so come with those negatives in mind. The customer service and ambiance are both cozy, warm, and welcoming.

I'm so glad we found this hidden gem in Old Town Tustin. We arrived around 4:45, and waited in line till the restaurant opened at 5. By the time we sat the restaurant was already full, so arrive early. They do take reservations but it's for parties of 6 or more. It's a tiny, cute restaurant that has a family feeling! Our server, Alisandro, was awesome. He made sure the kitchen knew about my son's food allergies. He made great suggestions, and even though the restaurant was busy he was attentive. The food was delicious, and you can tell the pasta is homemade. The Cesar salad was really good, they offer full and half portions. We ordered a full salad and it was more than enough for us. For the pasta we ordered half portions that way we can try different things.

Excellent food quality! The pasta was great--cooked al dente with just the right texture and really well-seasoned. ( not sweet or too sour) service was quick and professional, they check on us constantly , which I really like. Theres even a gelato shop right next door, which is perfect for a sweet treat after your meal. Definitely a solid spot to grab a bite when you're in downtown Tustin :)!!! 4.5/5 wish the table was a bit bigger

Storico Spaghetteria is a beautiful little Italian restaurant with a nice little bodega like gelato shop and market inside. The place is small and the seats and tables are arranged very close to eachother but it's still a very charming little place. They don't take reservations for any party smaller than 6 so make sure to get there and put your name on the waiting list. To start off I got their Pan De La Casa which is just their focaccia bread with olive oil and vinegar. Along with that I had to get the calamari and Caccia y Peppe. The Calamari was nice and crispy with good flavor and red sauce dip as well. The caccia y peppe is usually one of my favorite Italian small dishes but something about this version just didn't do it for me. Lastly I had ordered Gamberi e Proscuitto which had the thick pasta which is one of my favorites. The shrimp has great texture and flavor and the best part is that they have half portions so you get to try lots of different things. Service was very good and friendly as well and definitely a place I highly recommend to experience.

Such fresh tasty pasta! The noodles were cooked al dente and had that perfect bite and the sauces were fresh and flavorful. The vodka sauce was rich and the cacio e pepe sauce was salty (not overly), cheesy and nutty. The butter cake was also rich and crumbly, but not overly buttery! This place is a little on the pricier side and I'd recommend paying a little extra for the full portion! They do close their kitchen between lunch and dinner so just keep that in mind when going, and they also get relatively busy on the weekends (on a Sunday at 12:30 we waited around 20 mins). I believe our server's name was Gabe and he was very kind and helpful!

Found them on Yelp and decided to give them a try - MAMA MIA so glad we did! Every dish of food was 5 stars especially the ragu di carne. The fettuccini in the ragu is homemade and served perfectly al denti The service was over the top and attentive, the ambiance is delightful and comfortable. We simply loved it!

My husband and I really enjoyed our date night here. He got the full sized vongle pasta which he said was good, 8/10. I loved that they had a gluten free pasta (penne) option. I got the half sized carbonara with the gluten free penne, and it was yummy! 8/10 for me (kind of wish I got the full size.) We also got the bomba exotic for dessert, which was dark chocolate and vanilla gelato, had some cinnamon and maraschino cherry (which I didn't care for) and a dark chocolate shell. I thought it was a bit expensive at $12, would've rather paid around $8 or $9 for it. Service was good. The restaurant gets quite busy. We went on a Thursday night and didn't have to wait at 6pm, but others who came around 7pm had to. Parking was a little busy, we couldn't find a spot in the lot but we parked nearby on the street. Overall, we would come back again because we want to try other types of pastas available. :)
